Image to ASCII

This project is a tool to convert a png image to a plain text ascii file.

Prerequisites

Linux terminal

How to Run the Project

Set up:

1. Clone the repository to your local machine using git clone https://github.com/xrimsonn/png-to-ascii-c.git.

2. Navigate to the project directory.

Use:

1. Run the command make to run with the default image.png.

2. If you want an image with a different name use make PNG=<file>.png

3. The program will generate <file>.txt in the directory
