sxiv doesn't have an application icon

sxiv should have an icon, to identify itself better. For example this is a capture of Gnome shell showing sxiv opened.

I don't use a DE, so this never bugged me. Afterall, sxiv is a command line application.
I also do not ship a .desktop file with sxiv, so the distribution who creates it, is also responsible for choosing a meaningful default application icon.
Aren't there nice generic image viewer icons shipped with Gnome/KDE?
