I am running Muse on High Sierra. Whenever I change the volume in Spotify by use of the Muse controls, I am unable to close Muse and return to the current app controls. This is because when I leave the volume control interface, the "x" at the left is suddenly replaced with the escape key. I then have to either close Muse entirely or press the keyboard shortcut for invoking the HUD, to regain the current app controls.

Yeah, I know, super annoying. Unfortunately I'm pretty sure it's an issue with High Sierra, as:
1 - I didn't experience this with 10.12
2 - It happens with other apps as well. See here with QuickTime and Xcode.
I think we should open a bug report.

Yeah, we should do that. Hopefully the bug will be quickly fixed.

@xzzz9097 Did you file a bug report? I just tested the latest public beta, and the problem persists.

Not fixed in the 4th beta either.

Apple Developer Relations contacted me and prompted to test 10.13.2b2, and it seems the issue is finally fixed.
