Feature Request: Add "GetEvent" Endpoint

Thank you very much for open-sourcing this library! It helps a lot and works well.

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I would love to have the GetEvent Endpoint available as well in the API, do you think it is possible to add it?
I tried adding it myself but ran into a couple of typescript errors when trying to build the package.
