Is there any way to update dvd's yt-dlp executable to a nightly build?

yt-dlp's latest stable release has been outdated for 2 months now, and its facebook compatibility is not working anymore.
That issue is already fixed in the more recent nightly builds, but the update button (as of dvd 0.1.5) is stuck to the latest stable release.
Is there any way to update to nightly from dvd?
I tried inputting the "--update-to nightly" command, but it seems to do nothing, and the settings menu still says 2023.07.06.
