Are collection items' access statuses helpful while the museum is closed? #436

Access statuses currently are:

  • On View (for P&S)
  • Not on View (for P&S)
  • View by request in the Study Room (for P&D and Rare Books & Manuscripts)
  • Accessible by appointment in the Study Room (for Archives)
  • Accessible in the Reference Library (for Reference Library)

Tagging @jacquelyngleisner who will be Communications' representative with our group going forward.
Communications is working with curatorial on an access status that will work for all YCBA collections to display in the online collections catalog. Paintings and other collections will be accessible during the museum closure, under conditions that are in the process of being defined.
