No mouse or keyboard on rooted droid

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. start program through JAVAWS or from web link
2. Program starts fine
3. Display is good

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
No keyboard or mouse control

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
.3 on Vista, Verizon Droid, rooted, Android 2.0.1

I sincerely apologize. i jumped the gun. Works fine on rooted DROID for me.

Ver 2.0.1. Some key mappings still not working. Display could be sharper. But 
very
good for this early

I am seeing this problem.

I actually rooted my phone for the purpose of this functionality.  Yet, I don't 
seem
to be able to control the phone at all.
