when running arch.exe to install i get the following error:
Using: H:\Arch\rootfs.tar.gz
Installing...
ERR: The system cannot find the path specified.
HRESULT: 0x80070003
Press enter to exit...

"wsl --list" says that there isn`t any distribution installed on my machine.

this started to happen after i moved the arch folder to a ramdisk (i`m only testing things for now) located at H: because my ssd controller is crap and hangs quite easily.
I ran "wsl --shutdown" and then "wsl --unregister Arch" before moving the folder.

  • Windows build number: 10.0.19044.2728
  • Security Software: Malwarebytes
  • WSL version: 2
  • ArchWSL version: 22.10.16.0
  • ArchWSL Installer type: zip
  • Launcher version: wsldl2, version 22020900 (amd64)

This one might be a reference to issue, mentioned in WSL repository before, so it is about some files, crucial for WSL to work, might be broken, try running windows update or check %USERPROFILE% for any .wslconfig file and remove it, might help as well, but as I guess, it removes your config as well
