Hello, thank you for your interest. No, currently I have no plans for better UI.
I have no expertise in JS frameworks.
Are you dreaming about commercial HTTP service with great UI ?

I was hoping to find a server that would work with ShareX for uploading screenshots/files to and accessing them directly. Other software exists but it's in PHP or Node. I really like Go though.

I just have a quick look at ShareX.
This HoldStrong "upload" service needs a special code being executed by "client" in order to satisfy its main features.
Does ShareX allow us to have some kind of plugging in it?

ShareX has support for custom uploaders that can use an api backend with http post. Cookies or headers are available
