I'm not sure this is possible with how hubs are being handled. Of course if you manage to get it working yourself I'd gladly accept it.

As simple as this: #157
I might be missing something, but it at least seems to work perfectly.
Stats of the level seem to be restored as well, as it's a simple savegame.
