Inconsistency Drag to Multi-Select Shortcut When Changing the multi_cursor_modifier Setting

I always love using cmd + click for multi-select, and thankfully, we finally have a multi_cursor_modifier setting that allows me to change it to cmd_or_ctrl from the default alt key.

While we can hold shift + option while dragging to multi-select quickly, I expect to switch this shortcut to shift + cmd when I set multi_cursor_modifier to cmd_or_ctrl to maintain consistency.

Additionally, I would love to see the ability to drag to multi-select with only one key, rather than shift + option or cmd, as mentioned in #6423.

Additionally, I would love to see the ability to drag to multi-select with only one key

+1 for this. Since Option and Command seem to not have any effect on a click+drag, it would be nice if at least one of them would provide multi-select. Sublime Text allows multi-select by simply doing Option+drag for instance.

I can add multiple cursor selection with alt+shift under Windows but i didn't find a way to paste as column after copy. Any clue?
