New release tag?

There's been lots of fixes since 1.9-2 that's shipping with Zeek 2.6.2, is there an intent to tag a new zeekctl release soon so these can be leveraged? Is the current 1.9-52 feature compatible with 2.6.2?

Yes, the intent is to tag a new Zeekctl release whenever we tag the Zeek 3.0 release. It's undecided when that will be, but a guess would be a beta will happen in August.

It's likely the current master branch is compatible with 2.6.2, but most of the changes we've done are only to support the Bro-to-Zeek renaming for 3.0, and not generally beneficial to try to upgrade early.
