How To Create a Sudo User on CentOS [Quickstart]

	# adduser <username>
	# passwd <username>
	# usermod -aG wheel <username>

	For testing propose only
	# sudo ls -l

Chang passwd

To avoid errors: 'BAD PASSWORD: The password is shorter than 8 characters'. Use the following

	# sudo passwd --stdin <username>

ssh-copy-id

	$ ssh-copy-id <username>@<host>

.bashrc

	$ vim ~/.bashrc

add below

	set -o vi

sshd_config

	$ sudo vim /etc/ssh/sshd_config

add below

	ClientAliveInterval 30
	ClientAliveCountMax 6

.inputrc

	$ vim ~/.inputrc

	set editing-mode vi
	$if mode=vi
	  
	set keymap vi-command
	# these are for vi-command mode
	Control-l: clear-screen

	set keymap vi-insert
	# these are for vi-insert mode
	Control-l: clear-screen
	$endif

if bash >= 4.3 and readline >= 6.3, try use below .inputrc.

To view the readline version, using below method from stackflow:

	$ gdb bash
	(gdb) print /x (int) rl_readline_version
	$1 = 0x700

	set editing-mode vi
	$if mode=vi

	set keymap vi-commandgg
	# these are for vi-command mode
	Control-l: clear-screen

	set keymap vi-insert
	# these are for vi-insert mode
	Control-l: clear-screen
	Control-k: clear-screen

	set show-mode-in-prompt on

	set vi-ins-mode-string "+"
	set vi-cmd-mode-string ":"

	$endif

dotfile

	$ scp .vimrc <username>@<host>:/home/<username>/.
	$ scp .gitconfig <username>@<host>:/home/<username>/.

1. install packages:

   sudo apt install -y openssh-server vim

2. /etc/ssh/sshd_config:

    ClientAliveInterval 30
   
    ClientAliveCountMax 6
   

3. ~/ssh/authorized_keys:
