I don't know how to complete the two-step authentication(2FA)?

I'm back after experienced a lot in recently months.
I have to say that GFW(aka Great FireWall) is really powerful，but GFW has also seriously hampered China's scientific and technological progress，especially for IT workers.

I have to say that GFW has seriously affected IT workers in China because I have to spent extra effort to fix issue with network situation.

I have to say that GFW has very strongly affected programmers in Mainland China because I have to spent much efforts(include money) to fix issue which caused by GFW.

GFW brings many troubles to my software development activity:

• network isn't stable
• personal paid proxy(it mightbe prohibited by law) is also not stable(might be not available suddenly)
• speed of access to github is slow
• many contents(include my upload snapshot) in github couldn't be displayed/rendered properly

For example as following:








• many(I guess all)raw file(include my upload APK, PDF....) couldn't be downloaded from github
• ...

there are following side effects due to above troubles which caused by GFW:

• ChatGPT is not available
• Linkedin account was locked since Oct 2022 because of changed proxy's IP frequently
• Of course Linkedin is also not available
• Of course Twitter is also not available
• PayPal is also not available(the China-version Paypal is different with international Paypal, of course we have powerful Wechat Pay or Ali Pay)

....

• Github Copilot is not available
• huggingface.co is not available( I can't believe this because it's just an IT tech website)
• Sync with many Android open source project will be failure
• Built source codes in gstreamer will be failure(because it will download many source codes during build)
• ...

but at the same time,

• I could clone open source project from github(may be failure just try again and again)
• even I could submit source code to github or add comments in some open source projects(sometimes I can't see uploaded snapshots)

so I can't imagine how powerful GFW is and how GFW do this and I have no reasonable idea to handle it properly.

just think about why some most talented Chinese AI experts still living and working in US? these top AI experts may earn much more in China than in US and there are 600 million people in China who earn less than RMB3000(USD 430) a month at the same time. Why these top Chinese tech experts don't return to their home country? that's the question.

If there is no GFW（I had been spent about RMB10000( ~= USD 1400) to fix network issue caused by GFW since 2019), I would heard Georgi Gerganov's great whisper.cpp earlier.

Of course there are many programmers and AI researchers from China heard wishiper.cpp very earlier, this is also fact. it's my mistake.

I heard whisper.cpp on Jan 2024 at the first time and just use it generate subtitle for original English short video which referenced in Chinese articles on personal WeChat public account, but I didn’t read the source code of whisper.cpp at that time. sadly, my personal WeChat public account was forcefully closed on 01-28-2024. after that, I decided to migrate some personal software project to Github since 02-22-2024. I have to say that I really spent much time/efforts on personal WeChat public account before 01-28-2024.

I have to say that life is like a box of chocolate, you never know what you’re going to get. I decided to start integrating the great whisper.cpp to this project since 03-05-2024 and I did it on 03-16-2024 finally. I have to say that I was touched with and motivated by the great open-source project whisper.cpp from 03-05-2024 to 03-22-2024.

any programmer from Mainland China whom see this comment shouldn't misunderstand this because I really have NO / DARE negative thoughts of my great country but I also don't like GFW at the same time because I respect the fact.
