As I can see the project isn't in development sadly, we need a dev group like skylinefor android to develop an nitendo switch emu for iOS, don't give up as iOS users we are left behind in the emulating scene.

As far as I know, #1 and some responses from #2 explain the current situation.

Damn but there is no devs to get attracted to such a project to find a solution sadly, probably need a work from the start built-in on metal.

@mpekaross https://github.com/Ryujinx/Ryujinx/pull/5083 might do that but please be patient and don't rush the dev 🙂.

If we can't get a native Metal backend we'll have to keep waiting for a port of Ryujinx. Yuzu in its current state won't work because it requires too many Vulkan extensions that iOS simply does not have through MoltenVK.

So the options are: get a Metal backend for Yuzu or Ryujinx, port Ryujinx via MoltenVK which is what this repo is aiming to do, or wait for MoltenVK to support Yuzu's required extensions and then port that.

Hello, accidentally stumbled on the project. Curious, I had read through #1 and #2 so see how things are doing... to see that an array of struggles still exist. Also, not asking for a update or "wen ETA".... but has Ryujinx potentially updated their app enough over the many months since the prototype's conception to get switch apps to... not crash? (assuming one where to just swap out the current Ryujinx core with an updated version) Lots has changed and I wonder if it's enough to make a difference.
