Also, you can get some bogus results, such as "Asteroid ([asteroidTYpe])"

dscan is incomplete. was originally just POC,
it will report EVERYTHING in bubble based on player account level.
the filter options arent even skeleton code at this time.

Ah, the status page shows "Directional Scanning (using Ship Sensors)" at 100% complete, figured something got broken.

good catch.
that wasnt supposed to be 100%, and must have overlooked it the 098475938475 times i've reviewed that page.
that is incorrect, and am going now to update it.

update
just noticed.....anything with dates before 2015 are just guesses and not entirely accurate, and as such, have been overlooked in my updates.
turns out i need to review that entire page, as there are a few things not as complete as they are listed.

completed DScan code. (to a fully-functional 98%)
asteroids will show (as they are supposed to), as well as celestials and other items in your overview, and am working on making post about scanners and basic guides.
main server is not updated yet.

** edit 12aug20 **
main updated.

the angle slider is very off for items that are very close, or within the bubble of the ship?
