It's about a week that I'm trying to use Zmap and Zgrab to check my network and gather data on my network just like the thing that Censys does, but I couldn't do it successfully.

Maybe the Censys guys are using another version of Zgrab or something else is wrong, here is some of my problems :

  • Zmap runs in single port mode, I need to check about top 3000 ports on each IP
  • Zgrab does not gather banner for all ports ( for i.e I could not gather banner for port 3306 based on output of Zmap for 3306 and then piping it to Zgrab banner module ! )
  • etc ...

Can you please provide me a documentation or something useful about methodology/workflow that I could test Zmap and Zgrab just like the way that they do in Censys ?

ZGrab only scans one port at a time. Censys has custom software.
