Keyboard events being repeated multiple times

Describe the bug
Macros seem to sometimes (thought not always) use a lot of keystroke repetition, which can get messy under certain circumstances, resulting in behavior such as additional escape presses (which opens the settings menu, often instead of performing the requested event) and in automessaging not actually hitting the enter key properly after sending trade messages fairly consistently.

Reproduce

1. Open game in borderless fullscreen using the official client (not steam)
2. Map hideout to F5
3. Go to menagerie
4. Press F5
5. Behavior is observable most of the time for me

Update: closed Awakened trade, could potentially be a conflict with their key capturing software, as the only bug I'm getting now is that the second enter press is usually too fast and the chat message is often not actually submitted.
