Switching locations causes problems with classifying - FINISH is missing #78
Comments
Just to follow up, I may have some time to take a look at this early this week. |
Thanks for the video. It was really helpful. This is now fixed. I'm also going to close #73 since they're likely related, but do comment if it comes up again and I'll reopen. |
Great, it works!! As for the Recent profile page, it displays some images twice there however I didn't realize I classified them twice, for example: APK000819d || APK0007lqx (I added each of them to my collections. Could it be the reason they display there twice?) |
(I cannot repeat it, so it probably ha nothing to do with the collecting) |
The problems with switching locations still happen, but the behaviour is different. I opened the home page in the new tab, switched location from MED to CAL and started classifying. The images which loaded were still from the MED but the category list switched for the CAL, so I could classify the CAL plankton only, the page said it is CAL but when I visited the Talk, I saw they actually were taken in MED. This happened to me yesterday once and today again. I tried the switching more times and it worked in the other cases. Strange, isn't it? (I made screen shots from the Classification page and from the Talk, if you wanted to see them, let me know.) |
I switched the location from the MED for the CAL, after classifying a single image I switched the location back to the MED and went back to the Classification page. Here is a video record of the screen while it is happening. The Finish button was missing - the image loaded like if it has been classified already (notice the Discus and Next buttons are present instead of the Finish button!). But I was able to place marks (which shouldn't have been possible any more). I hasn't been signed out. The second (MED) image hasn't been recorded as classified - I've never clicked on the Finish button since it has never appeared there.
I've reported it somewhere already but can't find where exactly..
The CAL image displays among the RECENT classifications and in my ribbon as well. When I tried it with another image just before the recording, it didn't display there (and it's still missing among the RECENTS). (As mentioned here (#73))
