Parts (Atlas Series)

Atlas parts are designed for "end game" colonies because they are B-I-G.

There are three domed parts and a Harvester part under the Atlas class.

  • Factory Module (Available in Manufacturing section) come in 10m or 20m.
  • Agriculture Module (available in Kolonization section) come in 10m or 20m.
  • Kerbitat Module (available in Kolonization section) come in 10m or 20m.
  • Harvesters (available in the Utilities section) come in Large and Small variants and can be Crewed or Automated. The Small are designed to be connected to the 10m domes and the Large to the 20m domes.

The 10m domes can hold up to 12 kerbals and the 20m domes can hold 96(!) kerbals. All the domes have six (6) bays to perform their respective processing, regardless of their size.

Factories

An off-world manufacturing facility, capable of creating a variety of finished goods.

Factories are designed for processing mined materials into other resources. The following converters are provided and up to six may be used at a time:

Agriculture

This module brings more advanced farming techniques to your colony.

Agriculture modules provide means for producing the food and Colony Supplies required to keep your kerbals happy and healthy. The following converters are provided and up to six may be used at a time:

  • Agroponics
  • Cultivate (using Dirt)
  • Cultivate (using Substrate)

Kerbitats

The MKS Kerbitat crew support module can be configured as a life support recycler, crew quarters, or outfitted with comfort and exercise features to make your Kerbal more comfortable.

Besides being a groovy place for your kerbals to hang out, the kerbitat domes provide the following converters. Up to six may be used at a time:

Harvesters

The final word in planetary-scale resource exploitation. The Atlas harvester features rotating scoops and pulverizers to help extract vast quantities of raw materials for your most ambitions construction projects.

There are two sizes of harvester (large and small) and two variants (crewed and automatic), giving four (4) harvester parts. All four All four are found in the Utility section. The small variants are intended to be used with the 10m domes and the large variants with the 20m domes.

All harvesters produce heat so be sure to include radiators.

All harvesters have a single bay that can be configured for a single resource. These resources are:
