zoom-mgr
is a Bash script that can be run from anywhere in your home
directory.
Here's a typical install:
cd ~
curl -O https://raw.githubusercontent.com/felicianotech/zoom-mgr/trunk/zoom-mgr.sh
chmod +x ~/zoom-mgr.sh
~/zoom-mgr.sh install
Installs the Zoom Linux Client on your machine.
~/zoom-mgr.sh update
If a newer version of Zoom or Zoom Manager is available, download and install it.
Zoom Manager v0.5.0 and newer (April 16th, 2020) will update itself when running ./zoom-mgr.sh update
.
Older releases will not.
For older releases, to update Zoom Manager itself (not Zoom), just re-install it with the same instructions from the "Installation" section above.
The chmod
line won't be needed for the upgrade.
Once you've updated to Zoom Manager v0.5.0 or later, you can update Zoom and Zoom Manager at the same time with the update
command.
Instructions coming in the future.
