Harry,

Please review questions and answers and fill in information regarding ownership structure, revenue, etc... this is information that I do not have.

Attached are both the application that I have started and the application guide.

As agreed yesterday, I have tailored the answers to be more about our Remember app. The application guide specifically asks for a viable business plan for a product or service to be ready for marketing in 12 to 18 months and that we must have sufficient funds, or plans to raise sufficient funds, for the company to operate for at least one year upon admission to the Incubation Programme.

@cliffud Thanks for the work.
I'm checking with this, but .doc does not work good with me.
How about I put the information here, and we consolidate in a day or two before submitting

We should also answer the following. If you have some idea of the direction, then I can write more:

We will develop iPhone apps and sell Bluetooth iBeacon hardware to interact with these apps. These apps will serve information to users based on their proximity to a beacon or set GPS location.

2.4.2 Target Market / Clients and Market Potential 目標市場/客戶和市場潛力

2.4.3 Competition analysis: Any other similar or competitive products / services in the market? If yes, how do you differentiate your products / services from them and what are your competitive edges?
競爭分析:在市場上有沒有其他類似或有競爭力的產品 / 服務?若有,如何區分您的產品 / 服務,您的競爭優勢是什麼?

I am thinking these others as well, seems still not quite solid.

Some thoughts:

If we are in the business of selling beacons and offering free software, then we will need to differentiate our beacons by expanding the functionality beyond what competing beacons can do, sell them for less than our competitors, or we limit the app to only function with our own beacons.

If we sell existing beacons, we make $5. If we sell our own, we make $10. But how many do we have to buy in each instance? If none, what better price can we get if we take on some inventory? What is the actual cost of the beacon? If the cost of the beacon is $30 USD and we only sell for $35 USD, the cost is too high.

I think the app should always be free to remove any barrier for users to use it. Offering a commercial service and selling the beacons + the beacon hub will allow us to achieve a lot of functionality that is only then limited by how we design the app. Investing our time / money in creating the infrastructure that can be modified with software to fit the need is best if we cannot identify a direction now.

(A summary of your company’s vision, mission and positioning.)
(公司的長遠目標,使命和定位的摘要。)

Vision - the virtual and real world will become one world
Mission - build a location based platform for daily life through modern solutions
Positioning - cut into the market by a location based todo list

Yeah, something like that.

Vision - or maybe "introducing the world to smart devices" / "enabling smart devices to see the world" or something like that.
Mission - build a location based platform for daily life through modern solutions
Positioning - cut into the market by a location based todo list

How about?

Vision - Enabling context awareness as living standard
Mission - Building location based platform with smart devices
Positioning - Cut into the market by a location-based audio todo list

I am not sure what this would mean to consumers.

Vision - Enabling context awareness as living standard.

We can change to "Enabling smart devices as living standard"

By the way, I think the vision is not for consumers, but more for partners or investors.

Implementation

2. Target Market
We want to help SME in communicating better.
Take HK as an example, 98% of the working force work in SME, which counts to around 4 million of the working force.
We then want to expand to the foreign market and China.

3. Competition
No direct competition, we are redefining the factors of todo list
Audio todo - N/A
Text todo - Clear, Wunderlist
Location-based todo - Reminders (Apple), Reminders (Google)

4. Revenue Model
Selling electronic device iBeacon
Subscription service including more functions in the app

6. Business Performance
1st: Create customer base to 2000 personal users
2nd: Create customer base to 10000 personal users, with 1% of them pay a subscription fee for more functions
3rd: Create customer base to 50000 personal users, with 2% subscribing, and a active returning rate at 10%
4th: Create customer base to 200000 personal users, with 3% subscribing, and a active returning rate at 15%, sell the hardware device for 1000 pieces

3.1. Manpower

Every one got own machine, and also got a set of electronic devices needed for testing

When we enter the iBeacon e-commerce business in the 2nd year, we would need to reserve the cost for buying iBeacon from the supplier.
