Ethereum tools in vscode using ethcode API

Ethcode team is releasing its first version of API.

A basic extension can be built like following

Add extensionDependencies to the package.json file of your extension.

"extensionDependencies": [
    "7finney.ethcode"
 ],

Use ethcode API inside your extension

const ethcodeExtension: any = vscode.extensions.getExtension('7finney.ethcode');
const ethcode = ethcodeExtension.exports;

// Get ethers.js provider
const selectedNetworkConfig = await ethcode.provider.network.get();
const ethcodeProvider: Provider = await ethcode.provider.get();

// Get signer
const accounts = await ethcode.wallet.list();
const ethcodeWalletSigner = await ethcode.wallet.get(accounts[0]);

// Sign transaction
const myWallet: Wallet = await api.wallet.get();
const nonce = await myWallet.getTransactionCount();
