c++ code for convenient things, such as "countof(array)" macro and other frequently used expressions.

The master branch suffers from partial reconciliation with safely/cppext. 
Repo safely/cppext is meant to function on systems like the raspberry pi as well as microcontrollers, and perhaps you should use that.


V1 predates trying to coexist with safely/cppext.
