I can see where you might say that in regards to the Adobe logo itself because of the triangular shape used to form the "A", although no inspiration came from it while I was creating this design. Not surprisingly when I did a reverse image search I noticed there were logos that had even more similarities than Adobe's, however, none was exactly the same. An added level of difficultly exists nowadays creating any kind of logo because chances are there's already a similar concept or maybe even the exact same thing existing out there. This is just an idea; nothing final. I'm suggesting that AUTOMATIC1111 could use a logo for the project and this is to get some ideas rolling (even your own) in this regard. Thanks for your feedback; your ideas and thoughts are encouraged! |

@ParityError Great idea! Cool concepts. Maybe you can also post some icon size examples? This might help to illustrate the icon idea even better. Desktop browser favicon.ico files are 16x16 pixel. An .ico file can also contain multiple sizes (for ex. 16x16 to 128x128) for different purposes (bookmarks, home screen etc). |

Yeah, I think it looks great. Thanks for posting the smaller versions. I hope it's okay that I made a quick mock-up using your logo icon and a stylesheet I've created for myself for automatic's gradio ui. I find the official gradio dark theme still too distracting and I wanted all focus on the generated images. I'm aware that usability wise it's catastrophic ;-) since everything looks the same, but I personally like the minimalism.

In my head there is an Icon already closely associated with AUTOMATIC1111, this one:
I had no idea who that was originally to be honest, so I did an image search to look him up and then I read his story because even though I had heard the name often, Ho Chi Minh, I had never actually known anything about this real hero. I can't believe there is no feature film about his life story - it's about as good as it gets ! And what's better for a revolutionary app than a revolutionary icon ? I even tried to make one a few weeks ago after finding some documentation on the gradio website about customizing the icons, but for some reason it did not work. |

As a Vietnamese myself, I have been dying from day 1 wondering if Automatic1111 is Vietnamese. Ho Chi Minh is worshipped in Vietnam, while Vietnamese Americans thinks he is an evil communist. Funny how that works. |

Below are some additional color palettes (based off the original design) I recently created. They are in no particular order so as not bias your eyes into one color group vs. another. The original design does not use a gradient, rather it's a single color using transparency; each "1" is 80% , 60% , 40%, and 20% of the color on the triangular "A"; it nicely gives the overall design an illusion of a gradient. Obviously there's almost unlimited colors that could be used/tried and these are only a few I applied quickly, If you'd like to see a particular color let me know (specifically the hex/rgb equivalent), or feel free to play around with the

Thanks! Giving SD the opportunity to design a logo only makes sense. Obviously SD still isn't that great at creating logos in general or readable and logical text. Occasionally it gets lucky or some concept can be gleaned from it's results, although as of currently not so much. It's only a matter of time before SD rivals even the most accomplished art directors and will cash their paychecks with it's six fingered hands. :D |

Hey, I'm having a bit of a problem. Firefox refuses to show any favicon for my local url. Yet, it works just fine in Edge. I changed the favicon from ico to png, still nothing. I restarted FF a gazillion times, nothing. I went into about:config, set devtools.chrome.enabled to true, then opened the browser console and typed var fS = Components.classes["@mozilla.org/browser/favicon-service;1"] .getService(Components.interfaces.nsIFaviconService); fS.expireAllFavicons(); . It reset all my favicons, yet the local url doesn't want to show the actual favicon that's in the webui.py file. Any ideas? Edit: Also, do you even have a default Gradio favicon? I've literally never seen any favicon for my A1111 webui, ever. Edit 2: well, after about 20 years of Firefox usage, I switched to Opera completely. Not only is it faster, it shows the A1111 favicon properly. |

Wanted an icon for my desktop and found this thread. Did my own variation. :-D
This is the Inkscape svg if anybody wants- it uses a mesh gradient that's outside the standard svg spec, so it won't render right here. If you save it and open it in Inkscape, it will render the circle properly. |

@ParityError I used your logo as a ControlNet image, then did some post photo editing in order to get the diffusion like base images you get if you set samples to "1" in stable diffusion. It's a fun look, I wouldn't consider it being exact to your design, but thought I'd share with you. Thanks again for the A1111 design you came up with. It is clever.

AUTOMATIC1111 webui/project really needs an icon that is not the standard Gradio one.
It would make it much easier to figure out which tab in the browser it's on, plus it would give it some of it's own personality! I came up with a concept last night (entirely human generated) that I think could work quite well (colors and other details could of course be adjusted as necessary). In case it's not obvious, it's an "A" with four repeating 1's along side of it and could also be interpreted as the acronym "AI" as sort of a doubling meaning.
I'm curious to know your thoughts, cheers!
