I am a 3rd year PhD student in the CS department.

Why Computer Vision? [max 500 words]

Computer Vision is of fundamental importance for robot or vehicle to reason the perceived information from the enviornment. I developed vision-based Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) for several years. The goal of attending this is calss is to broaden and improve my CV knowldege.

What do you want to achieve in the course? [ max 500 words]

I want to go through the detail of some classical computer vision applications and improve them by providing better mathematical models.
