TPMS Encoding Progress
11 October 2019
This week I ran LFSR16 and 64 against an input. Works fine
Determined we need 128b input since that's what AES will run at a minimum.
Crypto++:
MAC - installed with brew (should be able to install with Apt:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ImG0h5sxpnQ
)
created a file
/TPMS_Encoding/CPP_Encrypt/cpp_exe.cpp
ran with
g++ cpp_exe.cpp -l cryptopp
Does generic hex encoding per
https://cryptopp.com/wiki/HexEncoder
Moving build to Makefile
2 October 2019
Client-server connection works
Client seems to encode message
Server can decode a portion of the message
TODO:
Make sure the message is encoded correctly before sending
Check that the message is overfilling the buffers on both sides
