Welcome to vpacman

Vpacman is a graphical front end for pacman and the AUR - built with Tcl/Tk.

The aim is to provide an alternative to the command line to view and manage packages installed and available from those repositories that have been selected in the pacman configuration file, as well as packages installed from the AUR or locally.

Pacman is always used to install, update, delete and synchronize the pacman packages and database. Therefore the entries in the pacman configuration file will always be respected.
