Highlights

🗂️ Several beds in one project (like Bambu Studio / OrcaSlicer)

All beds lie on the canvas in a grid, three per row, with name and part count. Click a bed to work on it, drag parts onto another bed, mark finished beds with ✓. G-code, simulation and the job always use the active bed – work through them one by one. Nesting can spread what doesn't fit onto more beds automatically. Everything stays in one project file.

▦ Nesting and duplicating

• Nesting (like LightBurn): packs parts tightly by their real shape – spacing, edge distance, rotation (incl. automatic), small parts in holes, start point and direction
• Duplicate with a count or “fill the bed”, nested right away

📦 Box generator (like boxes.py) – 9 box types

Box with lid, open box, divider tray, carrying box, drawer, lift-off lid, sliding lid, shelf and round box with living hinge (laser). Finger joints checked for gaps and overlaps, kerf adjustable, live preview.

🛠️ Milling

• Pocket milling really clears the area now (parallel or contour, islands stay)
• Holding tabs like Estlcam – automatic or placed by hand; also for laser and plasma (no small parts falling out)
• Single arcs and joined lines/arcs can be cut outside/inside

⚙️ Machine (GRBL / grblHAL)

• Probing: touch plate and tool length sensor with adjustable trigger height
• Limit switch test without alarm, hint on alarm 1
• Reverse spindle direction (M3/M4 swapped)

📷 Material detection with a webcam (beta)

Detects the sheet and offcuts on the bed – nesting only uses free material.

🔌 Wiring diagrams

• Ruida RDC6445G/S CO2 laser controller (power, external drivers, limits, laser PSU, air, door, E-stop, inputs/outputs)
• CNC Shield V3: 0–10 V converter moved to the correct pin (Z+ / D11)

Fixed

• Inside offset failed on some curved shapes (e.g. 3 mm bit), duplicate contours removed

Install notes: macOS is not signed by Apple yet – right-click → Open (or System Settings → Privacy & Security → “Open Anyway”). Windows: if SmartScreen warns, “More info” → “Run anyway”. Linux: make the .AppImage executable, or install the .deb; for serial ports add your user to the “dialout” group.

🗂️ Mehrere Betten in einem Projekt (wie Bambu Studio / OrcaSlicer)

Alle Betten liegen im Raster auf der Zeichenfläche, drei pro Reihe, mit Name und Anzahl Teile. Bett anklicken zum Bearbeiten, Teile auf ein anderes Bett ziehen, fertige Betten mit ✓ markieren. G-Code, Simulation und Job nehmen immer das aktive Bett – so arbeitest du die Betten nacheinander ab. Verschachteln kann, was nicht passt, automatisch auf weitere Betten verteilen. Alles bleibt in einer Projektdatei.

▦ Verschachteln und Duplizieren

• Verschachteln (wie LightBurn): Teile eng nach ihrer echten Form aufs Bett – Abstand, Rand, Drehen (auch automatisch), kleine Teile in Löcher, Startpunkt und Richtung
• Duplizieren mit Anzahl oder „Bett voll“, gleich verschachtelt

📦 Box-Generator (wie boxes.py) – 9 Box-Arten

Kiste mit Deckel, offene Kiste, Sortierkasten, Tragekiste, Schublade, Stülpdeckel, Schiebedeckel, Regal und runde Kiste mit Biegescharnier (Laser). Fingerzinken auf Lücken und Überlappungen geprüft, Kerf einstellbar, Vorschau.

🛠️ Fräsen

• Tasche fräsen räumt die Fläche jetzt wirklich aus (parallel oder Kontur, Inseln bleiben stehen)
• Haltestege wie in Estlcam – automatisch oder selbst gesetzt; auch für Laser und Plasma (kleine Teile fallen nicht raus)
• Einzelne Bögen und zusammenhängende Linien/Bögen außen/innen fräsen

⚙️ Maschine (GRBL / grblHAL)

• Antasten: Tasterplatte und Werkzeuglängensensor mit einstellbarer Höhe des Messpunkts
• Endschalter testen ohne Störung, Hinweis bei Alarm 1
• Spindel-Drehrichtung umkehren (M3/M4 getauscht)

📷 Material-Erkennung mit Webcam (Beta)

Erkennt Platte und Reststücke auf dem Bett – Verschachteln nimmt nur freies Material.

🔌 Anschlusspläne

• Ruida RDC6445G/S CO2-Laser-Steuerung (Strom, externe Treiber, Endschalter, Laser-Netzteil, Luft, Tür, Not-Aus, Ein-/Ausgänge)
• CNC Shield V3: 0–10-V-Wandler am richtigen Pin (Z+ / D11)

Behoben

• Innen-Versatz schlug bei manchen runden Formen fehl (z. B. 3-mm-Fräser), doppelte Konturen entfernt

Windows: bei SmartScreen „Weitere Informationen“ → „Trotzdem ausführen“. Linux: .AppImage ausführbar machen oder .deb installieren; für serielle Ports den Benutzer in die Gruppe „dialout“.
