I'm a big Notion and Google Sheets user, and so I'm super keen to see what AppFlowy has in store in terms of database management. It already looks really beautiful.
My dream data management software combines the customizable and flexible natue of google sheets with the linked tables and nested pages of Notion. I see that linked tables is already marked as an issue so that's great.
Compact database grid (table), costumization
There are a lot of things that I think could be improved on from Notion, but the first thing that comes to mind is a compact view, more akin to a traditional spreadsheet. When dealing with lots of entries, the deadspace becomes inconvenient.
Taking the thought further, more customization would be good, to the point of exposing a window to override the stylesheet for the page.
Conditional formatting
One of my favorite features from Google sheets, being able to colour cells depending on the value. Can be used for better visibility of outliers on a big dataset.
Graphs, summaries
Being able to intergrate a summary or a graph of a dataset as a block in other pages would be fun.
