Major Release

  • The assembly is now signed! Thank you for your donations to help make that possible.
  • New installation and update framework.
  • Now you can install Sidebar Diagnostics with Setup.exe. Fast and easy.
  • Creates Start Menu and Desktop shortcuts.
  • Uninstall available in Windows Settings - System - Apps
  • Or right click the start menu shortcut and left click uninstall.
  • App will update automatically now.
  • A short "Updating" window will pop up showing progress.
  • Updates usually finish within 10 seconds.
  • App will restart after updates are complete.
  • New custom icon.
  • Added the option to show clock speeds as GHz rather than MHz.
  • Wrote a new and improved settings library. Settings will persist between updates.
  • All of your settings will reset again. Sorry! But this is the last time I promise!

Installation

  1. Run Setup.exe

Important

  • To run the app again use the Start Menu or Desktop shortcuts.
  • You do not need to run Setup.exe again to run the app.
  • You can delete Setup.exe after the install is complete.
  • If you want to pin the app to your taskbar, right click the Start Menu or Desktop shortcut and left click "Pin to taskbar".
  • If you do it any other way, it will be pointing to the wrong version after an update occurs.
