• Java SDK : version 8 - Download from https://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jdk8-downloads-2133151.html

  Ensure JAVA_HOME is set in system path. verify by running java --version in cmd

  • Chromedriver : https://chromedriver.storage.googleapis.com/index.html?path=75.0.3770.8/
  • GeckoDriver : https://github.com/mozilla/geckodriver/releases

###Steps to execute

  • browser : can be chrome / firefox / ie : name of browser to execute tests on
  • driverPath : Absolute path of webdriver binary file eg. c:\Users\Shivani\Desktop\chromedriver
  • surefire.suiteXmlFiles : can be testng.xml / testng_about.xml / testng_home.xml / testng_search.xml : name of testng xml file to execute tests from

• Test execution

  clean compile test -Dsurefire.suiteXmlFiles=testng.xml -Dbrowser=chrome -DdriverPath="C:\Users\Shivani\Desktop\chromedriver"
