ConsistencyCheckExtensions.NameIsUnique(T) Method

Check if a CAEXObject has an assigned name which is not null or empty and if there is no other object in a list of CAEXObjects with an identical name.

Parameters

 

caexObjects
Type: System.Collections.Generic.IEnumerable(T)
The caex objects.
caexObject
Type: CAEX_ClassModel.CAEXObject
The caex object.

Return Value

Type: Boolean
true if name is unique, false otherwise.

Usage Note

In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type IEnumerable(T). When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter. For more information, see Extension Methods (Visual Basic) or Extension Methods (C# Programming Guide).
