NavigationExtensions.FindByID(T) Method (CAEXBasicObject, String)

Searches an object starting from the given CAEXBasicObject that has the given ID, the expected type must be given in angle brackets.

Parameters

 

obj
Type: CAEX_ClassModel.CAEXBasicObject
The parent object. Only children of this object are considered
guid
Type: System.String
The ID to search for

The target type

Return Value

Type: T
The found object from type T or null if none is found

Usage Note

In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type CAEXBasicObject. When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter. For more information, see Extension Methods (Visual Basic) or Extension Methods (C# Programming Guide).
