Images size in the acr repository

Today, to know the size of an image in the Registry container, we have to download this image.

The Azure Portal and Azure CLI provide the functionality to get the size of all images:

az acr show-usage -n MyContainerRegistry

or

It would be nice to have a label in the Azure portal, on each image repository/version, with the related size of the image.

It's also an interesting feature for ACR.

This seems to be a similar request as the size is held in the image manifest.

I think adding --detail to az acr repository show makes sense, more detailed info about an --image would include the actual Image manifest, not just the manifest digest.

Hi @blueboxes,

thanks for your message. It's great! I explored this command before, but I don't have the image size. To do that, I have to sum every image's layers sizes.

And my suggestion it's to be created a new "label" on Azure Portal and also to have the image size (sum of all image layers) on the output from azure cli.
