For at least some people, actions like closing an edit window can leave focus in a weird state where the main window isn't active, even though it's brought to the front. Users may need to click on some other window and then back to OpenBLCMM to re-activate.

I know that requestFocus() is to be discouraged, but it seems the best
way to have dialogs close properly without focus weirdness on some
platforms. This should take care of issue #3. Easier than it would've
been prior to migrating practically everything to AdHocDialog!
