Sometimes it happens that a notification gets 'stuck', whether it's being sent as new by the project's server, or because something in BOINC stops it from being recognized as 'read' after reading it. And then for days, weeks, months even you have a new notification icon on something you have read 25 times now.

When this happens on the PC or Mac, the solution is easy: manually remove the offending xml file and have BOINC contact that project again. On Android though that's not possible as the user isn't allowed into the data directory as this sits in the protected and hidden root data directory structure. So, I ask for Android for an option to remove these notifications, like a reset button or override 'read all' button.
