NVivo 14 compatibility

Hi, thank you for this project. I am also frustrated about the locked-in nature of NVivo and this project seems to be a great way to offer a way out. I understand that it has been written for previous NVivo versions. That's why I'd like to ask:

• Has anyone been able to run it successfully with newer versions (and specifically, with version 14) and would share any updates to the code that might be necessary?
• If not, would the authors/maintainers be willing to have a look if we supply a NVivo-14 .nvp file - as far as I can see version 14 is using MS SQL Server 2019.

That would be so awesome!

Hi Christian, Thanks for your interest in this project. I had one person contact me regarding a recent version of NVivo (not sure if it was version 14) and it looked like they had changed the text encoding to something I didn't recognise. At that point I didn't do any more. I'd be happy to take a look at an NVivo 14 file if you you can send me one. If your version of NVivo allows you to save it in NVivo for Mac (.nvpx) format that would also be helpful as the Mac version uses SAP SQL Anywhere as its underlying database - much easier to work with than MS SQL. That said, I'm pretty time poor at the moment so I can't promise too much. Cheers, Jonathan
