RawTherapee can apply GainMaps in the DNG OpcodeList2. It is also common (e.g. DJI drones, see #6995) for GainMaps to be in OpcodeList3. OpcodeList3 operations are to be applied after demosaicing. Implementing this feature should probably wait until after replacing dcraw. In #6887 for example, I moved the reading of the OpcodeList2 GainMap from dcraw to Exiv2 so that LibRaw can utilize the GainMap too.
