Add on stopped working. Blender working but with ultra lag when add on enabled

Hi, I buy the full plan recently. Liked your ADD a lot. So from nowhere, my add-on stopped working. LIke is ONn and enabled but it's like a blender has some conflict and working very slow and laggy when Blenderkit addon is enabled.

Expected behavior

Expect to work as before, with no lags and with no problem with the rest of the blender working.

Hi @Majdevac, thank you for your report. I am sorry you have troubles with the add-on, we will investigate to find the problem, however we will need some more information to know where to start.

1. First I would like to ask you for console log - you can see how to start the console on Windows in the screenshot below:

Another option is to start the Blender from PowerShell, then all events are printed to the PowerShell and you can just copy the text and paste it here.

2. Secondly as this might be problem with daemon server, I would like you to try if you can access address localhost:10753 from your browser. If the daemon is running correctly, your browser should just show you some number (process ID of Blender which started the daemon). If daemon is not running, then browser should show that the address cannot be reached. In both cases it would help us if you could find daemon log, which should be located at: C:\Users\yourusername\blenderkit_data\blenderkit-daemon-10753.log.

Please note that the port number 10753 might be different if you changed it in the add-on settings. Also the path C:\Users\yourusername\blenderkit_data\blenderkit-daemon-10753.log might be different if you changed the Global Files Directory.

Just in case you can try to change the port number, it is possible that port was taken by another application or is blocked by Windows Firewall or anti-virus. However we will see that from logs, so you do not have to change it. Logs will tell us more.

Hi @Majdevac, I am sorry, missed your updates in the email. Those circular imports looks like broken installation due to #131. Solution is to disable add-on, close Blender, delete the add-on directory and install again from zip. And do not use auto-update for now on Windows. (Will be fixed in 3.1.4, so updates to 3.1.5+ then will be OK.)

Please try to install latest build from master branch, this should fix the lags: https://github.com/BlenderKit/blenderkit/suites/6667864602/artifacts/252431227 and let us know if that helped.

Bug leading to this problem was fixed in 3.1.4 which was released yesterday. Please remove the 3.1.3 add-on manually (you might need to disable add-on, restart Blender and/or computer and delete the add-on) and install version 3.1.4 from .zip file which can be downloaded here: https://github.com/BlenderKit/blenderkit/releases/tag/v3.1.4. Please feel free to reopen, if the bug persists.

Hello there!
I think I have the same problem. Tried blender 3.1, 3.2. 3.3alpha, when enablig blenderkit, blender gets unusable. When I deactivate the add on Blender gets back normal.
So I erased it from the directory add on, donloaded and installed blenderkit version 3.1.4 and same thing happening.
working fine with 2.93.9 and former ones.
However I found the blenderkit log file 10753 but it is 0b size, can't reach the local host webpage, and if I open the log file it is blank.
