LiDAR Classification in New Orleans, LA

This project is a Land Cover Classification of New Orleans, LA.

Collected and manipulated GIS data including LiDAR data, NAIP data, and road centerline data.

Used a R machine learning code to classify the land cover into 5 types: impervious, grass, forest (tree), soil, and water.

The code is originally developed by Sean Woznicki.
