(Day status) UI work for uploading image status from gallery

We will create UI screen for uploading new image status from gallery

Send a screen shot. Show how this would like on Whatsapp and how this is different then other upload UI for uploading image.

This is different sir because firstly gallery will be opened from same screen we have for capturing image using camera. Secondly, it shows a timeline of photos in gallery. Here is screenshot from whatsapp:

Worked on this. This is under construction. Added gallery button on screen from where we capture image using camera. It opens up the gallery from there. Remaining UI work is to show timeline similar to whatsapp

Spent lot of time on this. Was finally able to show timeline of images similar to whatsapp. Here is screenshot. This needs more work to receive action gestures and make it clickable.

Help me understand what was the complexity? Just saying I spent a lot of time does not communicate anything?

The complexity was in displaying the thumbnails in form of timeline from gallery and make it scrollable along with camera live in background. UI adjustment was complex as this day status UI of whatsapp has all-in-one features. We are trying to do same.

After two years we are challenged​ by UI?

Tried lot to make thumbline responsive. But there were errors. Found a nice library closer to UI we need. Integrated our code with a library found having similar UI we need. It is now integrated into our App. Customised it to perform operations of uploading status which we need. It is working fine for images. Thumnail is now responsive. Here is screenshot:

It allows capturing images only. Work is in progress to customise it and add functionality to record video also.

Worked on this. Now we are able to record video on long press hold camera button. There was some error in saving file. Will wrap it up by today

Sir, It was working fine for both images and videos previously, only remaining part was to make thumbnails timeline UI responsive which were having errors.
For solving that issue, we found a library and customised the library UI according to our needs. The issue was that the library does not support video capturing. So we had to understand whole code of library how it is working and needed to modify the code to add video capturing in it.
