Having predefined strings in string.xml is a very good practice in Android, as it allows changes very smoothly. Add all the predefined strings used in res/streing.xml and make necessary changes at places they are used.

@gautom5987 This issue was supposed to be a prerequisite for issue #5 but we forgot to mention it. Since you have already done that please get this issue assigned and submit it.
