Azzure - September 30th 2020 Snapshot

  • Below you will find a Linux and Window snapshot, Download your OS version and then extract the archive in the same folder as your data directory folder for Azzure is. See below for further details.

  • A snapshot allows you to save a significant amount of time as apposed to just running the available releases and having them sync from the genesis block.

  • You will still require an actual wallet, such as Azzure v1.0.0.0, to use the Azzure network. This is a supplementary release not a replacement.

To Use Snapshot

Windows:

Please note: If you already have an "Azzure" folder please delete it AFTER backing up your wallet.dat! If you do not clear the folder before installing the snapshot you will receive errors!

Open the Windows download, then, Extract the "Azzure_Windows_Snapshot_Sept_30_2020.exe" and run it (Double click). On the screen that opens simply click "Next" to have the program automatically install the snapshot to the default directory.

Provided below is an example of where the data directory can be found manually.

C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Azzure

Linux:

Please note: If you already have an "Azzure" folder please delete it AFTER backing up your wallet.dat! If you do not clear the folder before installing the snapshot you will receive errors!

Extract "Azzure" folder to the shown locations, the folder NOT the contents as the contents should be in the folder shown below
