The project for this Software Process SOEN341 is to design a web application that allows parents to communicate with teachers and vice versa. Slightly, the requirements changed and we had to do a web-application compared to Facebook. The main purpose of the software was to help parents to keep informed about their children academic progress, schools events, volunteering opportunities and more. Basically, the web-application has a signup and a login page. It allows the user to sign up and then login. We have a good security login with a JWT token implemented. Next, when the user is login, he can post, comment, like and dislike on the dashboard. He can tag friends and they will receive a notification. After, the user can access his profile, and change his banner and profile picture. After, the user can send messages to people and receives a notification when a new message is received. Finally, the user can join, create and see all the groups created. In addition, if the user forgot his password, he can change it. He will receive an email to be able to change it.
