Hello, I have installed the skin (v1.3.3) but I always get these errors:

@holazit Difficult to say if this is a weewx or skin issue.

I tried a bit but could not reproduce this on my machine.
Do you actually have data for dew point?

I'm guessing the error comes from this section in the skin.conf (the combined outTemp / dewPoint chart):

Could you try to remove the whole [[[tempdew]]] entry and also the tempdew in the diagram_tile_observations? So it should look like this:

In the meantime I have tried to install another skin (weewx-belchertown) and it works without problems, so I think the problem is this skin. The weewx version I am using is "felddy/weewx:latest" on docker.

Yeah, then it's the skin.

Do you actually have data for dew point?

You could also try to remove dewPoint from table_tile_observations, stat_tile_observations and diagram_tile_observations in the skin.conf.

If you don't mind sharing your weewx database, could I take a look myself? You can share it with david.baetge@gmail.com

I don't know if I have dewpoint data (in the other skin I see the dewpoint value but I don't know where it gets that data from). By eliminating dewpoint everywhere it would appear that the skin is working correctly. I still sent you my database to check.

Ok, this is really strange, I used your database with the current version of the skin (default skin.conf) and weewx 4.8.0 and everything works very well. I attached the generated output files. There are no errors in the weewx log.

I can't see anything strange in your database, everything seems to be good. Dew point data is also available. Just a note: if your station does not actually record dew point, it should be calculated by weewx if your station records temperature and humidity.

Does the problem currently still persists for you? If so, the only idea I have left is to send you a modified version of the skin which should output some more log entries for debugging purposes.

If you would like to try again, the new 2.2.0 release should produce more error logs which should make it easier for me to find the error, thank you!

And you run weewx 4.8.0?

Could you also send me the contents of the directory where the skin is installed? This should be either /etc/weewx/skins/weewx-wdc or /home/weewx/skins/weewx-wdc, see https://www.weewx.com/docs/usersguide.htm#Where_to_find_things

Something is fishy here...

I'm using weewx 4.8.0 on docker (felddy/weewx:latest). I have sent you the required folder and the weewx.conf configuration file in case it helps. Thank you

Honestly, I have no idea what's causing this. Everything looks good and correct. I tried with your weewx.sdb and it worked without errors.

One thing I noticed in your weewx.conf is debug = 0. Could you please set debug = 1, restart weewx and wait for the next report run and post the logs again?

Please just copy-paste everything from the logs which belong to the report run.

Could you please change in /home/weewx/skins/weewx-wdc/includes/icons/dew-point.svg Line 14 from

<title>$obs.label.dewPoint</title>

to

<title>$obs.label.dewpoint</title>

It needs to be 'dewpoint' there, that's a mistake, but for me, this fails silently, I don't know why this throws an error for you (I hope that's the error and it's resolved after changing this).
