This update is primarily intended to provide working builds for modern macos and Windows systems.

N.b. ARM-based macos systems (M1, M2, etc) are currently untested, but should work in theory. Please raise an issue if you encounter problems.

This is a minor update addressing some bugs. "Clustering analysis" has been renamed to "Foci analysis" for clarity.

QuantiFish is a fast, efficient analysis program for the quantification of fluorescence in zebrafish larvae.

This release introduces dissemination analysis to quantify spatial and size distribution of staining within images. This builds upon the features introduced in QuantiFish 2.0 to provide novel measurements to assist analysis. There have also been further refinements to the user interface to make using this software as easy and intuitive as possible.

Just download and run the installer below to get started on Windows. For Mac OSX, just download and extract the files below into your applications folder.

Please report any issues/bugs either here or on Twitter so that they can be fixed.

QuantiFish is a fast, efficient analysis program for the quantification of fluorescence in zebrafish larvae.

This release is a major redesign with improved file handling to give more control over which files will be analysed. Cluster detection has been further improved to allow the export of data for each stained region in an image, allowing for analysis of dissemination. This version also supports previewing of very large images, along with other improvements.

The portable self-extracting windows .exe has now been discontinued, so please use the normal installer. This release also substantially reduces the download size.

QuantiFish is a fast, efficient analysis program for the quantification of fluorescence in zebrafish larvae.

This release introduces a simple clustering algorithm for the detection of large areas of fluorescence such as granulomas, alongside some other performance improvements.

QuantiFish also now supports macOS X (10.12 Sierra and newer)! Please get in touch if you encounter any problems or would like a version for older OSX editions.

Due to the increased complexity of this release, the self-extracting single file version now upsets some antivirus programs. For this reason our preferred distribution method will now be a proper installer for Windows. This has the benefit of a smaller download size and much faster startup of the software.

Initial release of the QuantiFish analysis program. The previous journal script suite for Metamorph 7 was rewritten as a standalone executable using Python.

Our aim was to create a fast, user-friendly program to enable simple fluorescence quantification analyses in an automated manner.

Release contains a self-extracting Windows .exe, no additional dependencies are required.
