Maintaining base walls should need screws instead of nails.
Nails are very easy to get (craft for example) and one quick loot cycle can give easily also like 4-8 screws.
Break in chances should be lowered 50%. Time spent building base and gates versus time spent to loot crowbars + sledgehammers and break in isn't in balance. Like a year+ ago had to spent 30+ crowbars and 20+ sledgehammers to break 1 gate lock. It was maybe little bit too much, but still better than nowadays. Now break in 1 gate usually goes in 2-8 minutes and supplies needed for that you can get in same time. Efford build vs break in are not in balance for sure.
Also my all time fav thing "infection". Could you remove herbal drink and rest option to cure infection? There are too many easy ways to cure, no way you die now for infection like in early years. It was challenging to die for infection after being alive for months because couldn't cure it. But it was fun part of the game. It wasn't always the player who killed you, infection was real killer too :)
Also a features that could be useful:
When going prone player has 2 secs black blank screen. Prevents diving into objects to see if there's something inside them.
Mandatory 1st person view in vehicles. Prevents 3rd personing surroundings, evens situations (like you're not out of the breath when exiting vehicle in fights) in battles.

Sick- bad food, water, wet and cold can make you sick. Curable with Herbal Drink, but add new Yukaway meds. Antibs can be used as well. Yukaway is easier to find, one use, and makes the illness go away. Have it on a 30 min timer. Then if they don't cure it, it upgrades to an Infection.
Infections are ONLY cured by Antibs. Still have infection from hits that need cleaning and are not cleaned, blood tx, or being sick for too long.
