Star Rail Fix Pre-release
Pre-release
  • Identifying dialog options even if the speaker's name is not present #66 (´。_。`)

Just replace this dll in the "Extensions\Honkai Star Rail" folder. I completely forgot that I fixed it, and didn't make an application update.
I'll include it in the next big update, which I'm already working on.

v1.0.6.0

New features

  • Star Rail support (YAY! 🙌)

Enhancements

  • Added cursor animation on moving between dialog options

Bug Fixes

  • Disposing BitMap screenshots after their use
  • After reloading the search (F5), ADE would freeze on a search outside of the dialog mode

Under the hood

  • Cursor movement between dialog options now works on percentage basis (Different dialog option heights support)
  • Cursor position smoothing when navigating between dialog options (Percentage threshold at which the position does not need to be recalculated. Prevents overjumping)
  • Support for capturing multiple screen areas in extensions
  • Support for different cursor configs in extensions (Hidden cursor position, initial position, animation speed, etc.)
  • Added delay on artificial mouse click (StarRail would get stuck without it and wouldn't let you skip the dialog on Space)
  • HSB color format support for extensions

Dev Notes

I've been out of development for a month... Yeeah... I played Yakuza 0 and worked at my day job. But I was uncomfortable with ADE working in Genshin Impact but not in Star Rail. You get used to good things quickly, heh.

Either way, it was hard to make it work. The number of supported screen resolutions are lower than in Genshin Impact because that's how this game is made. I did the best I could (.
You can read more about what screen resolutions Star Rail supports here

I haven't tested Star Rail support as much as I'd like, so you will be my testers alongside! Hehehehe >:-). But everything seems to be working as it should. Let me know if you have any problems.

Anyway, even though it's a pet project with bugs, thank you for using it! <3

See You Space Cowboy...

v1.0.5.0

New features

  • Orange dialog options (mostly appear in weekly requests) are now recognizable and can be selected
  • Added an action to select the last dialog option
  • Added an action to close a full-screen popup with the Click to Continue... message
  • Added a new autoskip option - Replies Only. Now with the ingame autoplay option enabled you can leave your mouse alone. Thanks to Aria0 for the idea

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed white dots appearing on screenshots (Alpha channel was enabled by default, which caused them to appear)
  • Fixed an incredibly rare bug that occurred when moving the mouse outside the game client while an artificial mouse click is being processed
  • Fixed a bug where the game process could not be detected if the game location was not specified

Enhancements

  • The autoskip functionality has been completely reworked
  • When restarting a search while in a dialog, the cursor will now be hidden
  • After auto-update, the main window automatically opens on restart, regardless of startup settings
  • Added update notification icons in the UI
  • Bumped Chrome User Agent version info in the program's web client
  • Added translation of speed values in the update download manager
  • Added automatic addition of missing action buttons for newly added actions on update

Dev Notes

My testers got even busier, and now there's no one left to test pre-release versions of the program...

I'm also getting almost no feedback from you guys, c'mon! No one told me that the autoskip functionality turned out to be weird in a way. I only realized this after a while and completely reworked it for the better, phew. Anyway, if you have any ideas or any issues, feel free to message me.

This will be the last major update for this year, and now I can finally focus on Star Rail support. I will fix any small bugs you may find, but I won’t add anything new for now.

After that I plan to separate the supported games from the program - they will not be packaged together, and it will be possible to manage them from the program itself (download/configure/override different internal settings, to support third-party UI mods).

Anyway, thank you for using ADE, and see you around at Teyvat. PEACE ✌
