Add Pebble notifications #318
Conversation
TODO: Toggle them in settings (default should be off).
Great idea! That could make Telegram one of the most used app in Pebble. Greetings. |
maybe settings to enable Pebble notifications should be moved to setting->notifications? |
Not quite sure I understand. The setting is currently under Settings->Notifications and Sounds. Do you want it under a different sub-heading there (i.e. not under "PEBBLE")? |
Oh, sorry, didn't noticed that. Ok, thanks, i will merge this with next release. |
Pebble notifications (thanks to #318) Fixed native lib load on android 4.0
Thanks, in 1.4.7. |
Why has this been removed again in version 3.1.1? |
If I had to wager a guess, I'd say it's because the Pebble app now supports notifications from all apps, so this feature is redundant. |

Added the ability for Telegram to send notifications to a connected Pebble smartwatch (using the reference documentation with slight modifications).
This can be toggled in Notification settings and defaults to "Off".
I have been testing this over the past few days with my Pebble connected to my Nexus 5/Nexus 7 (2012).
